Name: Taryn Hughs
Nickname(s): Tar-bear (she really hates it)
DOB: January 16
Taryn can repair and add onto automobiles of all kinds. You name it, she can fix it. She's especially good with cars, however. She often tinkers around with things if it's not broken, and then breaks it
accidentally, actually having to fix it.
-Sunglasses she'll prolly never wear inside
-She has a tatoo like this 24.media.tumblr.com/9000afce54…

Personality: Taryn puts up a very harsh front. She likes to show she's serious and collected. She pretty much believes she has something to prove honestly. In reality though, Taryn through and through is a goof. She's pretty easily excited and well, kind of dim. She often says what's on her mind, no matter how harsh it may be or how much it might hurt someone, although pretty quick to over-apologize if it's a friend. She also can't sit still or in a quiet place at all like hello adhd child.

-A TOTAL CRYBABY
Taryn was born in Liverpool, UK to a stay at home mom and an engineer dad. Life was simple enough, she played around in the backyard, got homeschooled, dad made enough money that they never had an economical issue of catastrophic proportions. Life was pretty great. During her childhood, she always had a special place in her heart for her dad's work.
As Taryn grew up, she never lost her interest in engineering. Her dad decided hell he wasn't gonna have a boy, might as well keep the legacy going with someone. At least once a week Taryn and her dad would go out to their garage and she would get a lesson in how cars work, what does what and why etc. When she was 12, her dad decided to show her how to do handy work too. After sometime, dad would purposefully mess things up to have Taryn fix them. She grew pretty well versed in repairing cars and begun to branch out from there, teaching herself how bikes and other automobiles work by reading up on them and sneaking into repair shops as guys were working on the aforementioned vehicles.
When she finally reached high school age, her parents decided it'd be good to move her into a public school. This was a very dumb idea according to the budding mechanic. These kids, they were mean. They didn't care that Taryn could fix a car and fix it well what a dork they'd say. All they cared about was that she was the new kid and didn't have a clique to belong to. So she decided, she'll be a cool kid, one that'll be able to fix up every vehicle they could throw at her. Taryn spent less time on her school work and more on repair work. Assignments were half-assed and grades falling, but she gained respect with kids when they're cars were stuck in the parking lot of school, and a little spite for people she'd stick up. Her parents were concerned but their kid was a stubborn one, no way they were going to get a total victory with her so a compromise would have to suffice somehow, they just needed to think of a good one...
Soon after 4th year started, the Hugh house got a letter in the mail addressed to Taryn. A high school in out of country was gathering teens all around the world that specialized in certain skillsets and they wanted her as the super high school level mechanic. A school for kids super good at one thing? Sure sounds familiar...
RP Sample: Creaking down the stairs in her pajamas, Taryn had papped herself lightly on the cheek to wake herself up. After fixing herself a breakfast she walked to the dining room and skimmed through the mail. Nothing but junk and stuff for her parent-oh? The teen's blue eyes narrowed on a rather pristine looking envelope for...her? She sniffed contemptuously before opening it and reading the contents. Her expression lightened before a smirk grew across her face. "Sounds like my kinda place," she chuckled to herself before walking to her parents' room.
